The Best Garlic-Ranch Burger Ever!

Using 93% lean ground beef and mixing the seasonings into the ground beef prior to shaping the meat into patties makes these garlic-ranch burgers not only lower in fat, but super-tasty as well. Try it and you’ll be hooked!

I just put a pound of ground beef in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the seasonings over the top. I use my stand mixer and a standard paddle attachment to mix it all together, but you can also knead it with your hands if you do not have a stand mixer.

Shape it into patties (I like to make 3- 1/3 lb patties, but you could divide into 4 for the standard 1/2 lb burger) and grill on each side until cooked through, but watching closely so they don’t get overdone and dried-out. If desired, add some cheese to the top of each burger for the last minute or so and close the lid of the grill so it melts. This burger is fabulous with havarti, white cheddar or provolone cheese!

While the patties are grilling, open the hamburger buns (I used Kaiser rolls which were a little crisp on the oustide) and spread a little butter (you don’t need a lot) on the inside of each half. Lay all buns on a baking sheet, butter side up. Sprinkle each with a little garlic salt and parmesan cheese.

Right before burgers are done, put the buns in the oven on the top rack (About 3-4 inches from cooking element) and broil for a minute or two until toasty-brown all around the corners. (Watch them closely so they don’t burn. Some broilers heat up fast!) Remove from oven.

Place burgers and desired toppings on your burger.
