Remove racks of ribs from package and place in roasting pan or cut racks to fit in 9×13 pan.
Season generously on all sides with garlic salt and season all.
Add 1/2 c water to pan. Cover with foil and bake for 5-6 hours. Check after 3-4 hours and add more water if necessary.
Remove from oven. Cut into sections. Baste with BBQ sauce and return to 450* oven for a few min to sear BBQ sauce OR baste while cooking on the grill for a few minutes.
