Cut butter into 1/2 inch squares. Layer chocolate chips and butter squares in glass bowl or glass Pyrex measuring container. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir with a whisk until lumps disappear and consistency is smooth. (Start out with first measurement and if lumps will not disappear or chocolate is not dipping consistency, melt 1 Tbsp. butter and while still hot, add slowly and stir until desired consistency.)
