Instructions
  1. Chop pecans if desired.
  2. Combine all ingredients except pecans in a frying pan or skillet. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is bubbling.
  3. Add the pecans and cook for another 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the pecans onto parchment paper or a cookie sheet and cool completely.
  5. Break apart as neccessary.
Recipe Notes

If you want the pecans broken up but the coating to be even, chop or break the pecans beforehand.
