Homemade Belgian Waffles
These fluffy waffles are the perfect reason to start a Saturday morning tradition!

  1. Heat waffle Iron.
  2. Separate eggs, putting egg whites in a small mixing bow and egg yolks in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Beat egg whites until soft peaks appear. Set aside.
  4. Beat egg yolks, butter (or oil) and milk until smooth.
  5. Beat in dry ingredients and vanilla until well blended.
  6. Gently fold in egg whites with rubber spatula or wooden spoon.
  7. Pour 2/3-3/4 cup (depending upon your waffle iron) of batter onto center of hot greased waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops, about 5 min. Remove waffle carefully.
  8. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
