Broiled Asparagus with Olive Oil, Garlic and Parmesan

This is a quick and easy to way to make fresh asparagus. The lemon juice helps to neutralize the often bitter taste of asparagus.

Simply wash and cut the asparagus. Shake it up in a bag with the olive oil, garlic, parmesan cheese, lemon juice and salt until evenly coated. Then pour the contents of the bag onto a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. (You don’t have to use aluminum foil, it just makes for easy clean-up and I discovered this after I took the pics.)

Broil in the oven for 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired tenderness.
