A couple of weeks ago, I was looking for a way to use some extra french bread that I had from a family party. We are hooked on this now! My husband calls it “sugar-free dessert!” I like it so much better than the pre-purchased garlic bread, partially because each slice gets toasted and none of it is soggy. You can also control how much butter you put on according to your taste!

Ingredients
- 1 loaf french bread
- 1/2 c butter softened or melted
- California Style Garlic Salt
- dry grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Slice french bread into 10 slices and place on a cookie sheet.
- Spread butter on each slice.
- Sprinkle with garlic salt, then parmesan cheese.
- Turn oven to broil. Place in the oven on the top rack and broil for 3-4 minutes or until the edges are well toasted and butter is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and serve.
